Ibi Meier Oruitemeka, also known as Studio IMO, is a self taught painter based in Hastings, UK. She began her artistic journey in May 2024, when she awoke on her 43rd birthday with a compelling instinct to pick up a paintbrush, an intuitive moment that marked the beginning of her creative path.

Her work thoughtfully explores themes of human connection, examining how individuals influence, shape, and leave lasting impressions on one another. Through a distinctive and evolving visual language, her practice serves as both a deeply personal reflection and a universal meditation on relationships, resilience, and the shared human experience.
