INTRODUCING

ME, Hugill

Working under the artist name ME, Hugill, Kerry Hugill is a Cape Town–based artist with
formal training in graphic design and illustration, holding a BA in Visual Arts from the
University of Stellenbosch.
With over 20 years’ experience as a creative director, designer, and illustrator, her career
spans commercial, digital, and fine art practices. Alongside her professional design work,
she has consistently maintained an analogue studio practice across multiple mediums,
with a strong and recurring focus on acrylic painting. She has also contributed to the
development of young creatives as a lecturer and mentor, and is currently establishing
herself as an emerging artist in the contemporary fine arts space.
