Maroula Lambis

Maroula is a self-taught South African artist based in Cape Town, whose work seamlessly blends photography with collage and intricate stitching. Her contemplative, evocative aesthetic explores the nuances of womanhood, often tinged with a sense of melancholy.

Recognised as an ‘artist to follow’ by Latitudes, Maroula was also long-listed in the Photography & Printmaking category of the Women United Art Prize in 2022. Her work has been showcased in group exhibitions across the UK and South Africa, as well as in online platforms, captivating audiences with its depth and intimacy.
