Kerry Michau

Based in Ballito, South Africa, Kerry Michau creates bold contemporary paintings inspired by the country's untamed coastlines and wild landscapes. After studying Fine Art at Stellenbosch University, her practice evolved from delicate watercolours to expressive works in oils and acrylics.

Having lived in London and spent 11 years in the Sabi Sands, her work is deeply influenced by nature's raw beauty. Today, she is best known for her striking seascapes, tropical botanicals and nostalgic palm paintings, capturing movement, atmosphere and a sense of place.

Her work has been exhibited in New York City, with two aerial surf paintings featured on Times Square billboards. Collected for their vibrant energy and timeless appeal, her paintings bring the beauty of the South African landscape into homes around the world.
