George Johnston has a very unique way of interpreting the chaos, the suffering and the beauty of cycling. His abstracts are absolutely stunning, the use of colour, texture and shapes really is unlike anything we have seen in art representing sport.
Hear from George: "For me cycling is an art, and through my Peloton Abstract collection I wanted to capture and convey the speed, colours, chaos, excitement and energy of ‘a moment in time’ of the race within a race, the elements and attrition. I like to use hidden shapes and let the viewer make their own interpretations. My work is also a celebration of the human experience and inclusivity of the sport of cycling.”
