Carmia Schoeman Originals

Carmia Schoeman is a Cape Town-based artist specialising in photorealistic graphite and charcoal drawings, with a focus on African portraiture and figure studies. Originally from Saldanha, her work is guided by a deep conviction — an inner knowing when an image is meant to become art. In 2024, her piece “Little Dreamer” featured in the Silapha Art Auction for the MAD Foundation and was acquired by an international collector. Carmia’s work seeks not just to impress through technique, but to reflect the divine source of the gift that enables her to create.
