Ashok Kore Originals

Ashok Kore is a professional pencil artist from Hyderabad, India, working full-time in graphite since 2021, after leaving his BTech studies to follow his passion.

Raised in a farming community, he discovered early on that art was his calling. Using graphite pencils and powder on 300gsm Arches cotton paper, he builds surreal, photorealistic compositions through a meticulous dry layering technique, dedicating hundreds of hours to each piece.

His work blends dreamlike imagery with subtle social commentary, exploring themes of identity, psychology, and the nature of reality. Drawing inspiration from daily life and philosophical reflection, Ashok transforms ordinary observations into fantastical, emotionally charged narratives.

His pieces have been collected internationally and featured in group exhibitions across Europe, marking him as a rising talent in contemporary pencil art.
